SAINT JAMES x Guillaume Larquemain

Guillaume Larquemain reinvents the maritime wardrobe

Guillaume Larquemain presents an exclusive capsule collection for our Norman workshops. The Parisian designer, known for his creations featuring his signature apple seed emblem, brings his expertise with natural materials into a reimagined maritime wardrobe. This Autumn-Winter 2025-26 collaboration draws inspiration from the tidal flats, those graphic furrows traced by the sea in the sand at low tide. Guillaume Larquemain offers a contemporary vision of our maritime heritage, creating a dialogue between textile innovation and traditional craftsmanship.

A capsule collection crafted in our French workshops

The collection is composed of three pieces made in France, in our Norman workshops. The cotton pullover Graphic, available in navy blue, results from extensive research into knit stitches. The Perfecto Peacoat, crafted from supple wool cloth, reinterprets our iconic peacoat with a more fluid cut. The ribbed beanie Oblik, available in red and pink, completes this limited series. Each piece carries the designer’s apple seed emblem, either delicately embroidered or rendered in metal.

Garments designed for lightness and comfort

Breaking away from the traditional rigidity of seafaring garments, Guillaume Larquemain emphasizes natural fabrics and fluid cuts. This Autumn-Winter collection revolves around comfort, without compromising on elegance. The cotton pullover Graphic features unique knit stitches specially developed by our workshops. The Perfecto Peacoat transforms the historic peacoat into a lighter piece thanks to supple wool cloth, retaining its emblematic structure while gaining fluidity. This approach reflects Guillaume Larquemain’s philosophy: “to go beyond a modern reinterpretation of the codes of the maritime wardrobe.”

Our craftsmanship serving creation

Our Norman workshops have adapted their manufacturing techniques to meet Guillaume Larquemain’s creative vision. The research into knit stitches for the pullover drew on our textile expertise to achieve the desired texture. The Perfecto Peacoat required precise mastery of wool cloth, a demanding material when it comes to cutting and assembling. This capsule collection highlights our ability to innovate while preserving the traditional techniques that have shaped our identity since 1889. The encounter between our maritime heritage and Guillaume Larquemain’s vision opens new horizons for French maritime apparel.
