Great shirt- light cotton
The loght cotton is great for our warmer weather in San Diego and layering option. Now I want to get the thicker cotton version too!
Iconic must-have classic color combination!
I am a huge fan of Saint James and have a lot of their Breton shirt color combinations. This ecru/navy combination is a must have! It's screams of French chic, and it goes with so many colors to wear for bottoms. Of course, it goes great with blue jeans and white bottoms. However, I have also worn mine with red bottoms, pale pink, and green bottoms. Yes, green. It looks great with green for a fashion twist. I also have this color combo in the Galathee style for when the weather is warmer. This is a wardrobe staple!
An updated classic
I was gutted that very shirt in 1999 and wore it for thirty years. This new iteration of the classic is lighter, not as soft and probably not as hard wearing as the older version I had. Nonetheless, I do appreciate the one I just bought though I wish I the material had not changed.
Saint James USA
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Your older shirt may have been made in carded cotton, a heavyweight jersey. You may want to try our MERIDAME shirt, which is made of this same material. It won’t be soft at first, the same way it wasn’t soft back then, but it will become so after a few washes. Sincerely, Jennifer for Saint James USA
