Coming from SAINT JAMES ' authenticity, the 48N1W collection celebrates our classic designs, twists our iconic wool and finds its core in SAINT JAMES marine DNA by offering a free, modern and original vision of what makes SAINT JAMES so unique.
Timeless fabric of our timeless Méridien and Méridame shirts, the carded cotton is truly the most authentic fabric for sailor striped shirts. A bit more rough than combed cotton, we like its unique touch, authentic. Durable, with a firm and elegant flow, it is the ideal cotton for a structured, modern piece.
Iconic fabric at SAINT JAMES, the wool is at the core of our know-how. The 48N1W pieces made in wool are all knitted with the traditionnal wool used for our Matelot jumper, softened or felted. Unique, our techniques give an uncomparable style and touch to the pieces.

Inspired by our iconic Matelot jumper, the Paris design features the timeless codes of sailor jumeprs : round neck, shoulder buttonin, pure new wool. To bring a touche of modernity, it has been shortened, its neckline lowered for more comfort, and its rib trims has been widened for a more elegant yet urban style.
Traditionnal, iconic and timeless, our Némo shell jackets is a technical, workwear piece, coming for the marine wardrobe. Rethought on a more urban, modern tone to create the Saint Lazare design, it is now made in felted wool, for a softer, cosier feeling. Its buttoning tab has been replaced by a blended wool strap, to match our Paris jumper.
